Support Us
Thank you for wishing to support Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives which includes five museums: Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, M Shed, The Georgian House Museum, The Red Lodge Museum and Blaise Castle House Museum – as well as the Roman Villa at King’s Weston and the Bristol Record Office which collectively make up the service.
To make giving to Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives as tax-effective as possible, a charitable trust has been established.
Bristol Museums Development Trust (BMDT) (Registered Charity Number 1137777) supports all aspects of fundraising for the Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives. As a registered charity, all donations made by UK taxpayers to the trust are eligible for Gift Aid, increasing the value of your donation by 25%. The objectives of the trust are to support, for the benefit of the public, the building, establishment and maintenance of museums, galleries and archives of artefacts, art, documents and other associated material in Bristol.
By making a donation to the Bristol Museums Development Trust (BMDT) you will help provide a first class museum experience to people from Bristol, other parts of the UK and beyond. Your gift could help to preserve priceless artefacts in the collection, fund gallery refurbishments, provide family activities and reach out to communities for whom visiting a museum or art gallery can be a life-changing experience.
