The Plan is in three parts:

- Delivery Plan - setting out implementation proposals over the shorter term.
- Supplementary Documents - covering walking, parking, public transport, traffic management and freight, smarter choices, road safety, cycling and rural transport in more detail.
Consultation
Consultation on the Joint Local Transport Plan 3 has been taking place and closed on October 4 2010. Results of the consultation will be available in November 2010 and the JLTP3 will be published in March 2011.

Joint Local Transport Plan 2005/6 - 2010/11
The Joint Local Transport Plan (JLTP) published in July 2005, sets out the transport strategy for:
- Bristol
- South Gloucestershire
- North Somerset and
- Bath and North East Somerset.
It is also the means by which the four councils bid for government funding for transport improvements.
The JLTP sets out detailed plans and targets for transport over the period 2006 to 2011. Progress towards these targets is reported every July by Annual Progress Reports (APRs).
The West of England Partnership's Travel+ website provides more information about the JLTP2. You can also get a copy of the JLTP document, however a copy of the summary leaflet is available in related documents section.
