Horfield Leisure Centre is located on Dorian Road and Filton Road. Free car parking is available for 250 cars with access for coaches and disabled people. The closest bus stop is Horfield Common.

Cafe

Located in the main entrance foyer and overlooking the pool, the cafe serves a healthy selection of hot and cold food.

Main Pool

Located next to the learner pool and pool changing village, the main pool is a 25-metre, eight lane sub-regional competition pool with a moveable floor and 250 seated spectator area. 

Not only for leisure swimming, the fully accessible pool is used for a variety of activities including: aqua fit classes, swimming lessons, school and club programmes for all ages.

Learner Pool

Located next to the main pool and pool changing village, our large learner pool helps everyone learn how to swim safely.

Changing Village

Located off the main foyer and next to the swimming pools, the pool changing village is set up to accommodate all types of swimmers. Special changing facilities allow for families and disabled people.   

Health and Fitness Suite

Located off the main entrance foyer and next to the changing rooms, the 95 station health and fitness suite has a lot to offer.

• Fully air conditioned, the health and fitness suite includes a selection of up to date cardio-vascular equipment, including: treadmills, exercise bicycles, rowing and elliptical machines.
• State-of-the-art weight resistance machines and two free weight stations are also featured.
• Stretching area.
• Equipment for disabled people.

Exercise Studio

Located next to the fitness suite and sports hall, Horfield Leisure Centre's exercise studio features a wooden sprung floor and air-conditioning.  From yoga to spinning, there are a number of classes available for all abilities.

Sports Hall

The sports hall can be found off the main hallway and next to the exercise studio. The sports hall is used for many types of sporting activities and clubs, including: badminton, 5-a-side football, gymnastics, trampolining, basketball and much more.

Squash Courts

Located next to the sports hall, four glass backed squash courts are available for 45 minute sessions.

Ladies' Changing Room

Located next to the health and fitness suite, the changing rooms at Horfield Leisure Centre have hair dryers, plenty of benches, mirrors and lockable lockers (£1 refundable deposit).

Disabled Access Changing Room and Shower

Horfield Leisure Centre features changing rooms and toilets specifically fitted for people with disabilities. These changing facilities feature a toilet, sink and shower with plenty of room and assistance bars. 

They are located near the health and fitness suite as well as the pool changing village.

Family Changing Rooms

Horfield Leisure Centre features specially designed family changing rooms that allow extra room for parents with children and push chairs. Securely fitted with changing tables and seats, families can change into their sports gear in comfort.

At Horfield Leisure Centre, fully qualified and vetted staff are available to watch after your child in a secure and playful environment while you workout.
