Overview
- Public open space of level lawns and wide gravel paths just off the centre of Bristol. Perfect for picnics and events in the summer, including the annual Bristol Harbour Festival.
- Opening hours: Open at all times
- Admission is free. Please remember that access may be restricted on some major event days.
- Parking: There are pay and display parking bays around the site.

Close to city centre bus routes and on the city centre cycle route. From the city centre it is a five minute walk.

Events
Queen Square is often used as an outdoor event venue. It holds a broad range of local, regional and national events with great attractions to visitors and residents.

Community engagement
The Queen Square Association is a local business group that welcomes local involvement and works in partnership with the council to assist with the management of Queen Square.
Awards
In recognition of Queen Square being managed to a high standard, it has been a Green Flag Award winning open space since 2008. The square also forms part of the successful annual Bristol in Bloom judging route.
Crime and anti-social behaviour
The square is regularly patrolled by Police Beat and Community Support Officers and visited routinely by the Estate Wardens.
