SLS Sale of Stock
Bristol School Library Service is still offering schools and individuals the chance to buy books and other resources that are no longer required. Stock is held at our offices on Hartcliffe Way in Bedminster with prices starting from £1.50 per book. Schools and individuals wishing to buy items need to book a visit by telephoning 0117 903 8534. Payment can be by cash, cheque or using a school order number.
Why use us?
- The Ofsted report 'Good School Libraries: making a difference to learning' (2006, ref: HMI 2624) states that the best school libraries surveyed were the result of the headteacher's clear understanding of the library's key role in raising standards and the use made of their local school library service.
- To achieve an effective school library/learning resource centre that will enhance teaching, learning and reading for pleasure throughout the school.
- For impartial, professional advice on all aspects of running a school library/learning resource centre.
