Facilities and activities

The play area is a designed to resemble an Iron Age fort. It includes a bridge over a grass moat, climbing frame with bridge, towers, slide and cargo nets, toddler swings, an accessible nest swing and dish roundabout, toddler springies and a Tarzan rope swing.

The play area is fenced to provide a large dog free area and includes lots of grass for toddlers to run around on as well as seating for parents to meet and socialise.

There's a set of goal posts outside of the play area.

Access

The new play area is accessible from the footpath crossing the centre of Gainsborough Square and is open 24 hours a day.
