A medium sized park with lots of trees and areas of open grass and a new play area for all ages.

Facilities and activities

The play area includes equipment for all age ranges on several levels.

The upper level has a girospiral and typhoon in areas of bark mulch surfacing for older children.

Steep grass banks with climbing ropes and boulders connect to the middle level where there is a pirate boat with slide, set in a sea of blue safety surfacing with climbing boulders and sand to play in. There is also an accessible basket swing.

The lower level has facilities for younger children, including cradle swings, a spinning dish, springers and climbing cubes. There are log benches throughout the site as well as boulders and logs to climb on. The play area is enclosed with metal railings to ensure it is dog free.

Access

The play area is in the centre of the park and is accessible from tarmac footpaths across the park and within the play area.

Most of the play area is accessible to wheelchair users.
