St Agnes Park

Description

St Agnes Park is a characterful and popular local community park, reflecting the vibrant and multi-cultural area it serves.

The park and adventure playground have recently gone through an ambitious development plan, making major environmental improvements to the park. There's a new community focussed play area, with exciting new play facilities in the adventure playground.

The park lodge has offices and meeting spaces available for use by community groups.

Facilities and activities

The junior and toddler play area on Thomas Street includes swings, an inclusive seesaw, roundabout and spring rockers, a rope swing and toddler play table and chairs. There's a new water and sand play zone with play ship.

New play features in the adventure playground include an accessible aerial ramp leading to a dramatic new tree house with nets, slides and fireman poles.

All the play areas are fenced so as to be dog free.

Access

St Agnes Park is accessible from Thomas Street, Davey Street and Morgan Street.

The new play area and the adventure playground are accessible from Thomas Street, which is suitable for wheelchair users and pushchair access.
