A local park with a rural feel to it, with wide, open grassy spaces surrounded by lots of trees and located on a hillside.

The play equipment is suitable for children up to 13 years old. Equipment includes a large net climbing structure, a nest swing, cradle swings, a stand-up seesaw, a roundabout, and a slide.
There's also a sand pit with a sand digger and balance beams, and areas of grass and boulders for natural play.
The play area is fenced so as to be dog free and has seating and a litterbin.
Access
The play area is at the bottom of the hill, and is accessible from the park entrance on School Road close by. A tarmac path provides wheelchair and pushchair access from the entrance to the play area.
There are some minor level changes within the play area although most areas are accessible to wheelchair users.
The park is open and accessible 24 hours a day.
