Withywood Park

Description

Withywood Park is a linear neighbourhood green space with a skateboard and BMX area, ball court and a play area.

The park is open and accessible 24 hours a day from Four Acres, Paybridge Road and Keble Avenue, with tarmac paths providing access throughout for wheelchair users. There are some minor slopes.

Facilities and activities

The play area has been designed around a mound with a high twisty slide as a central feature. Other equipment includes a nest swing, dish roundabout, stepping pods, stand up seesaw, low rotator, four-person teeter totter, balance cable, hand over hand climbing frame and stone compass.

The play area is fenced to be dog free and includes areas of grass for playing and sitting, an accessible footpath and safety surfacing.

Access

The play area is in the centre of the park and is accessible from entrances off Keble Avenue and Paybridge Road.
