Services

At Greenhouse Learning, our mission is to help individuals of all ages and abilities become independent learners.

Our service consists of personalised and focused 1:1 and small group tutoring and mentoring to students at all levels. We tutor all subjects, but are busiest with the core subjects: Maths, English and Science. Being local, we offer schools, LAs and other alternative provision settings a mix of in-person and online lessons.

Our programmes are centred around supporting students with their goals, whether it’s progressing at school, catching up on lost learning or developing social and emotional skills.

Lessons can take place at home, at school, or at our centre in Bristol. Our tutors have been thoroughly vetted to work with students of different needs, including Children in Care, students with SEN and SEMH difficulties, and pupils at risk of exclusion.

We offer more than subject-specific tutoring. We get to know each child’s interests and personality, and match them to a tutor who can design bespoke lessons tailored to them. Our tutors also act as academic mentors and coach students on life skills like capturing tasks, study techniques and time management. This approach helps the child achieve their academic qualifications or other goals, whilst also developing each student’s independent learning ability and critical thinking.

Finally, each lesson is accompanied by a session report written by a tutor, and emailed to all stakeholders. We look forward to helping more children progress and thrive with their tutor or mentor to become confident, successful young adults.
