Services

HorseWorld Discovery develops holistic growth through a tailored equine assisted learning programme that brings young people who struggle with mainstream education together with gentle rescued horses.
Short-term interventions across 6 or 12 weeks (longer by arrangement)
Delivered via weekly 1 or 1.5hour sessions at HorseWorld, with experienced, trained facilitators in a setting that embraces Thrive.
Available Monday to Friday  in term time, am or pm.

Discover Horses, Discover Yourself

6-week programme of outdoor activities with horses, carefully tailored to meet desired learning outcomes, boost confidence and develop holistic growth.

• Individual (1:1) and group (up to 6 students) bookings available
• 6 weeks (we also offer 12 weeks bookings for Individual referrals if booked with Discovery+, see below)
• Students in Year 4 and above: 1.5 hour session per week
• Students in Year 3 and below: 1 hour session per week

Discovery +

Tailored support for individual learners who have already completed Discover Horses, Discover Yourself (can be booked at the same time to make a 12-week course). We can offer:

• Further individual support to access Discover Horses, Discover Yourself at a deeper level, developing and building transferable life skills including social and emotional skills
• Being part of alternative timetable/EOTAS package for students struggling to cope in mainstream, but who thrive in outdoor environment
• Further learning through Discovery Awards in Equine Care and/or further learning modules
• Further support for development of social skills
