This form is for providers of substance use treatment and recovery support, allied health, social care, criminal justice and housing professionals who work with people who use drugs and alcohol. It can also be used by people who use drugs and their families.

Our aim

Gathering timely information about new, stronger, adulterated and contaminated drugs available in Bristol enables us to assess risk and work closely with local partners to reduce harm and fatality caused by drug use.

You can use this form to tell us about:

  • potentially new, potent, adulterated or contaminated substances circulating among people who use drugs in Bristol
  • substances that could be causing concern among people who use drugs or resulting in more harm than usual

How the information is used

The information collected here is confidential and is used by our Public Health Directorate to protect our local population. Non-identifying information may be shared with the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (part of the Department of Health and Social Care) to inform the national Early Warning System.
