What you'll be doing
As part of a multi-disciplinary team within our Housing Development Team, you will contribute to delivering new, high-quality council housing.
You will work closely with Housing Development Managers and Housing Construction Managers, providing project support across a wide range of activities involved in delivering high quality council housing developments.
This will include supporting project teams with early-stage site feasibility and de-risking work, community engagement, planning applications, procuring and managing multi-disciplinary consultant project teams and contractors, assisting with the construction and delivery stage, and leading on the handover of new housing developments to internal stakeholders and assisting with the successful tenants moving into their homes.
What you need to have
- A passion for, and experience of, housing development
- Ideally experience of working in housing and working with relevant stakeholders such as, housing development partners, elected Councillors, and local community stakeholders
- A knowledge of housing, construction, community engagement, project management
- It would be beneficial for you to have relevant experience of working within a Local Authority, housing association, or other housing development role within a regulated environment
