Register to vote anonymously if you're in danger.
You can apply to be registered as an anonymous voter if you're worried about your personal safety, such as you're escaping violence or you have a job that puts you at risk from other people.
If you are registered anonymously your name and address will not appear on the electoral register and your name will not be included on any forms sent to your address.
This is to enable you to vote without risk.
You will need to:
- explain why your safety or the safety of someone in your household would be at risk if your name and address appeared on the electoral register
- provide a court document or an attestation from an authorised person to support your application, see pages 4 to 5 of the form below
