Check if you're registered to vote
Completing your registration application online does not confirm that you're on the register.
If you've applied to register you should have received a letter from us either:
- to confirm you are now on the register
- to ask you to provide further documents
You're already registered to vote if you've received a poll card for the upcoming election in May.
Poll Cards for the election are sent out at the end of March onwards.
When your name will appear on the register
The electoral register is by law only updated once a month on the first working day, except in October and November where there are no updates.
