Thank you for considering one of the exciting opportunities we have available to join our Finance, Risk and Insurance Teams here at Bristol City Council.

Our teams are dedicated and enthusiastic about the engagement, support and advise they give to our colleagues, partners and councillors. The work we do has a very real impact on the services that our council provides to its community, and is critical to ensuring the council provides value for money.

Finance, Risk and Insurance at Bristol is essential in providing both core functions and statutory requirements as well as being integral in the development of projects and decisions.

There's a lot happening in the city and across the council, from democratic changes, to big transformation programmes and capital works, which means there is lots of variety and breadth to the work you might get involved with at the different levels across the teams.

We've been through a period of change in the team, to redirect our resources to better suit the needs of Bristol City Council and the community we serve. This journey has culminated to where we are now recruiting to a variety of roles within our teams.

We're looking for individuals, with varying degrees of experience and qualification, to share our values and with an enthusiasm to develop, grow and spread your roots with us at Bristol.
