The Housing Related Support Services team consists of six areas where the focus of the work is client facing, working alongside vulnerable service users to prevent homelessness. Each team is made up of Support Workers, managed by Co-ordinators and Senior Support Workers, who help to develop or sustain a person’s ability to live independently, maintain independence and prevent homelessness. These teams work with vulnerable people in their own homes, or in the community, providing housing related support and advice relating to complex substance abuse, mental health, as well advice for deaf, blind and deafblind adults so they can become as independent as possible.
