If you have a paper permit
If you need a residents' or business parking permit for your new vehicle you need to:
- apply for a digital permit for the new vehicle
- fill in the get residents parking permit refund form to get a refund of the paper permit, when we issue the refund your paper permit will not be valid for the old vehicle
We'll send you a refund of the unused days on your paper permit within 15 working days of receiving your form.
If you have a digital permit
You need to:
- contact MiPermit Go to https://secure.mipermit.com/bristol/application/contact.aspx (opens new window) to cancel any existing permits or visitor permits, you'll get a refund of unused days
- log in to Bristol MiPermit Go to https://secure.mipermit.com/bristol/Register/ProductRegister.aspx?PermitType=RESIDENT (opens new window) to apply for a digital permit for the new vehicle
Change vehicle registration on your Central Parking Zone, trader, landlord or medical permit
Don't apply for a refund as you can't apply for a digital CPZ, trader, landlord or medical permit, tell us about a change of vehicle.
