We welcome applications from prospective traders and stall holders. Unfortunately, we don't keep waiting lists.

We promote all our stall vacancies on this page, Facebook and Twitter.

We're happy to hear from anybody who wants to open up a stall whether you're experienced, or a complete beginner.

We can give advice on all things markets, such as public liability insurance and food hygiene if required.

Vacancies

Bristol Food Source

A construction project is currently underway to rebuild the central section of the Covered Market. In keeping with St Nick's long history of selling produce, we are hoping to attract local food enterprises to complement our existing mix of businesses.

Once it's built, the ‘Bristol Food Source' will house up to three businesses, each offering diverse, original, and authentic food to customers.

Because of the nature of the new building, we cannot consider applications for on-site cooking operations. Reheating food and serving hot drinks may be allowed, depending on what is being sold.

Market trading will be licensed for a 12-month period from when you start trading. We hope that licensees will take that time to establish their business and be ready to move onto the high street after the 12 months.
