We currently have two indoor vacancies, detailed below. We also welcome applications from prospective traders for our Broadmead Market, Indies Market, and Street Food Market.
Additionally, we are exploring ways to establish new trading spaces in and around St. Nicholas Market. We encourage inquiries from street food traders, especially those with a food trailer or truck, who are interested in pop-up opportunities.

Vacancy 1: Stall 1A Corn Street
We present a unique opportunity on Corn Street. It allows you to become part of a rich tradition and vibrant community. We're now welcoming interested parties to submit their applications.
This opportunity is for a trader seeking a weekly pitch for a high-quality food trailer or vehicle. Drinks may also be offered as part of your proposal however, we are not accepting requests to make alcoholic beverages available. Note that outside of official trading days and times, it is expected that any trading equipment, vehicle or trailer will be removed from site.
The pitch is served by a 32amp C-form electrical supply and access to a waste store is also available. The use of gas cylinders for cooking purposes is permitted, given the appropriate evidencing of associated safety certification.
The pitch does not have access to a mains cold water supply or outflow drainage. However, several potable water points are available within the indoor market for use.
In addition to joining our daytime traders on Corn Street Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 5pm, we are seeking a lead-trader for Corn Street Fleet, our new nighttime street food market on Friday and Saturday evenings 7pm to 11pm.
As lead-trader, the successful applicant will be a keyholder for the enabling of vehicle access onto and off of Corn Street each evening, provide access to electrical supplies for attending traders, as well as facilitate access to toilets and bin-store. Additionally, the lead-trader will be the primary point of contact for the general operation of these evening markets, which will not be routinely staffed by Markets Team members and function in a largely independant fashion.

Cost
The annual licence fee is currently £18,000, approx. £1,500 per month, inclusive of an electricity supply provided at no extra cost. Licence fees are subject to annual inflationary increases and periodic review. Note that license fees are due to increase by 5% from 1 March 2025. In addition, license fees for food traders are in the process of being consulted on, with a percentage of turnover model potentially being introduced within the next financial year, full details can be provided for applicants shortlisted for interview.

Vacancy 2: Stall 9-12 Glass Arcade
St Nicholas Markets presents a unique opportunity within Bristol's prestigious and historical Glass Arcade. It allows you to become part of a rich tradition and vibrant community. We are now welcoming interested parties to submit their applications.
The vacant stall sits alongside many well established and successful food businesses, in an area of the market that benefits from high levels of lunchtime visitors.
We are accepting applications for the sale of food for immediate consumption and would welcome interest from parties offering something highly original and authentic.
The stall has an approximate floor space of 10 square meters.

Cost
The annual licence fee is currently £5,788.57 (approximately £482 per month), inclusive of a water supply. Electricity is available by way of an independently metered supply. Licence fees are subject to annual inflationary increases and periodic review.
Note that license fees are due to increase by 5% from 1 April 2025.

Vacancy 3: FoodSource CV101, Covered Market
St Nicholas Markets presents a unique opportunity within FoodSource BS1.
It allows you to become part of a rich tradition and vibrant community. We are now welcoming interested parties to submit their applications.
We are looking to attract local food enterprises to complement our existing mix of businesses.
We would particularly welcome applications from interested parties offering a sit-down food offer (hot or cold, but without need for full cooking facilities), dry store goods, hard to find ingredients and cooking equipment.
This large trading space is approximately 22 square meters in size with plenty of room for seating or shop displays.
