How to get here

The building is in the heart of the old city and about a 20 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station, close to many luxury hotels and restaurants which are suitable for wedding and civil ceremony receptions.

Accessibility

There is level access into the building and adapted toilets on the same floor.

There's currently a project underway to install induction hearing loops in all conference and meeting rooms to further enhance the building accessibility.

Bus

Any bus that stops at the centre is a short walk away.

Buses 1, 2 90, 91, 92, 512, 668, 672 and X54 also stop nearby on Union Street and Wine Street.

Train

Bristol Temple Meads station is a 15-minute walk from the Old Council House.

Car

There are many parking facilities nearby. 

The Gallery car park and NCP car parks on Nelson Street, Queen Charlotte Street and Rupert Street are all within a five-minute walk.

Ferry

Welsh Back and Castle Park landings are both just a five-minute walk from the Old Council House.
