Public health outcomes framework

This is a national data tool by Public Health England, and includes the latest data for Bristol benchmarked against national and other comparator areas, plus trend data.

To access the Bristol data:
Go to: Public Health Outcomes Framework
Click “Start, Go to the data” 
The tool will automatically open with “Region” set as “East Midlands”, click in the Region box and choose “South West”  

Once in “South West”, click in the “Area” box and choose “Bristol”.

There are several themes across the top of the tool, each theme opens a separate data dashboard of indicators.

The dashboard is colour coded to highlight areas that are significantly better or worse than the national average for each indicator.

The tool is fully interactive, and will allow you to click on a data point to see trend or inequalities data, provide definitions or download as a pdf report.

A national data tool by Public Health England, focussing on individual GP practice profiles, plus summary profiles for clinical commissioning groups (CCGs).

To access local data

Go to: National General Practice Profiles
Click “Start”
either choose “NHS Bristol CCG” from the CCG box, followed by a GP Practice 
or enter a postcode in the search box and it will provide a list of the closest GP Practices to select

Once a GP Practice is selected, within the “Spine charts” option there are 15 separate “topic” dashboards to choose.
