Right to Buy Co-ordinator

£26,873 to £28,770

The role

As a Right to Buy (RTB) Co-ordinator, you'll need to be:

  • delivering the highest level of service to residents, while balancing a complex workload of RTB applications from council tenants
  • providing a customer focused service that meets statutory timescales for RTB applications

In a diverse and varied role, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • giving advice to tenants on their RTB applications
  • managing RTB applications from initial application through to completion
  • explaining the process to customers and obtaining all relevant information required
  • having an awareness of fraudulent claims, escalating to Management for review
  • liaising with colleagues in other departments and other Housing Providers to obtain the necessary supporting information

This role requires a certain level of flexibility.  A typical week will see you working at home, in the office and out and about in the community, visiting residents at their properties and other locations. You'll be active in delivering our vision for a high-quality service for residents.

  • deal with a variety of scenarios on a day-to-day basis
