Receive notifications of new applications

  1. Go to Planning Online and sign in, or set up an account.
  2. Go to search, planning, advanced search.
  3. Enter your chosen parameters and 'search'. 
  4. At the top right of the results page, you will see 'save search'.
  5. Under 'edit', you can choose to receive an email on new applications in this search.

Weekly/ Monthly lists

  1. You can view lists of all applications validated in the past week or month under search, planning, weekly/monthly list.
  2. This information is not presented by ward. Ward specific applications should be viewed under a saved search by ward. 

Other ways to look at applications

We make historical planning applications and documents available to view online for 7 days, upon request. 

This applies to all cases predating July 2005.

Look at planning appeals

To see a list of appeals that are in progress, use the Appeals Search on our Planning Online website. To search for appeals:

  • in the Appeal Status box, choose Appeal in progress
  • select Search at the bottom of the page

To see the planning application the appeal is for, select an appeal and then select Related Cases. You can look at appeal documents by going to the original planning application and then selecting Documents.
