Our website will be down for maintenance between 10am and midday, Monday 23 December. Sorry for any inconvenience.

There's a problem with our search function at the moment, if you can't find what you're looking for please use Google or Bing.

It can be challenging when you're watching someone you care about using harmful drugs and alcohol.

We recognise the stress this can cause and have a range of services to help you and your family members.

The support is provided by Developing Health & Independence and includes:

  • help from other family members in similar situations
  • structured support groups
  • specialist support groups for the parents of teenagers using drugs or alcohol
  • one-to-one sessions for support, advice and counselling
  • Reach Out, a dedicated annual conference for families and carers
