It offers a balance between improving air quality and the need to support businesses as much as possible.

What is happening now

Bristols Clean Air Zone started on Monday 28 November 2022. The zone will help:

  • improve air quality by reducing harmful levels of air pollution caused by traffic
  • make sure everyone benefits from a healthy and natural environment
