We work closely with utility companies and developers to coordinate essential roadworks.

Why roadworks could be inactive

Roadworks could be inactive because:

  • it's after normal working hours
  • multiple excavations are open due to mains replacement and workers need to leave some open for final connections
  • water mains are being chlorinated
  • mains are on pressure test
  • concrete is curing
  • gas is venting

You can report roadworks where no activity has taken place for a long period of time to us.
