The closing date for expressions of interest was 7 January 2022. This was followed by a detailed selection process to identify a new community-based organisation to take over Jubilee Pool.
We've now completed a Community Asset Transfer lease with the Friends of Jubilee Pool (Bristol) Ltd.
This new charitable organisation will be taking over the responsibility for managing Jubilee Pool under a 35-year lease. The Friends of Jubilee Pool works closely with local supporters and volunteers and has ambitious plans for improving this much-loved community facility.
A seemless hand-over will take place on Friday 30 September 2022. The facilities are not expected to close and will remain available as usual.
